05. 02. 2020 What's the future of Sečovlje Saltpans? Until 19 February 2020, an exhibition entitled »Proposals for the future of Sečovlje saltpans« by the students of the Department of Landscape Architecture of the Faculty of Biotechnics, Ljubljana University, is on display in the Maritime Museum's Info Center  in Monfort (former saltwarehouse) in Portorož.

14. 10. 2019 Presentation of the book "Ljudje s črnimi prsti" ("The black-fingered people") On Friday, 11 October 2019, the book "Ljudje s črnimi prsti" ("The Black-fingered people"), of dr. Igor Presl, the librarian in Piran Maritime Musem, was presented at the Monfort Infocenter.

30. 09. 2019 “Participatory practices for museums” workshop On Wednesday, 25 September 2019, a workshop entitled Participative practices for museums was taking place at the Monfort Info Centre within the framework the ARCHES project (in cooperation with the COME-IN! project).

18. 06. 2018 The Museum summer night 2018 This year's the Museum's summer night was special for the Maritime Museum "Sergej Mašera" Piran, as for this occasion the inclusive occasional exhibition "Stone on stone ... Roman architecture of northwestern Istria", prepared by Snježana Karinja, was opened. Also permanent museum collections have been upgraded and adapted to make them more accessbile ...
