20. 04. 2023 The Students of Primorska University paying a visit to the Maritime Museum Piran Within the framework of the accessible exhibition "Zagreb in spe / Small Items - Big Stories", prepared by Aleksandra Bugar from the Zagreb City Museum and hosted by the Maritime Museum "Sergej Mašera« Piran,  students from the University of Primorska UP FHŠ visited on 20 April 2023 the Maritime Museum to view the set-up exhibition.

02. 03. 2023 A narrative by Elvira Mata i Enrich, former director of the Barcelona Maritime Museum, in Montfort Infocenter On Thursday, 2 March 2023, Mrs Elvira Mata i Enrich, held a narrative at the Monfort Infocenter in Portorož. As the long-time Director of the Maritime Museum in Barcelona, she presented the ancient - historic vessels in maritime museums around the world. During her narrative entitled "Preservation and protection of historic vessels in Catalonia", she focused particularly on the presentation of the Maritime Museum Barcelona as well as on the acquisition, conservation and reconstruction of historic vessels, making of replicas of historic vessels and their exhibiting.

07. 02. 2023 »The Sunken Secrets« – a narrative by Andrej Voje On Friday, 7 February 2023, on the eve of the Day of Slovenian culture, a narrative was held by Andrej Voje, a brilliant underwater photographer and cameraman, in the Portorož Monfort Infocenter at the invitation of the Maritime Museum Piran.
In the hall packed with attendees, Andrej Voje presented during his 100 minutes long and highly interesting narrative several Croatian archaeological sites, at which he participated as a cameraman.

11. 11. 2022 The Piran Code De summa totius Orbis (1524-1526) on the National List of Monuments of the World The Piran Code De summa totius Orbis (1524-1526) by Pietro Coppo, which is held by the Maritime Museum Piran, was entered in 2022 on the National List of Monuments of the World as part of the UNESCO program carrying the same name. The list includes the first ten nationally significant items housed by Slovenian institutions.

Karlin" – lecture by Barbara Trnovec at the Maritime Museum "Sergej Mašera" Piran Within the framework of the visiting inter-museum exhibition "Women's stories; mythic images and reality through museum items" held at the Maritime Museum "Sergej Mašera" Piran, Barbara Trnovec, anthropologist, researcher, publicist and museum consultant from the Provincial Museum Celje, highly impressed the audience with a superb lecture on Alma Karlin’s life story and travels all over the world.
