11. 11. 2022 The Piran Code De summa totius Orbis (1524-1526) on the National List of Monuments of the World The Piran Code De summa totius Orbis (1524-1526) by Pietro Coppo, which is held by the Maritime Museum Piran, was entered in 2022 on the National List of Monuments of the World as part of the UNESCO program carrying the same name. The list includes the first ten nationally significant items housed by Slovenian institutions.

Karlin" – lecture by Barbara Trnovec at the Maritime Museum "Sergej Mašera" Piran Within the framework of the visiting inter-museum exhibition "Women's stories; mythic images and reality through museum items" held at the Maritime Museum "Sergej Mašera" Piran, Barbara Trnovec, anthropologist, researcher, publicist and museum consultant from the Provincial Museum Celje, highly impressed the audience with a superb lecture on Alma Karlin’s life story and travels all over the world.

09. 06. 2022 Fun workshop at the Museum of Salt-making! On 7th June 2022 a group from the Centre for Communication, Hearing and Speech, Portorož visited the Museum of Salt-making.
31. 05. 2022 Presentation of the book Sava and Jolanda in Postojna On the former Youth Day of 25 May 2022 we presented, in the fully packed hall of the Notranjska Museum Postojna, a book about the first two Slovenian and Yugoslav mariners: Sava Kaluža from Postojna (although born in Ilirska Bistrica) and Jolanda Gruden (married Mažer) from Nabrežina.
18. 05. 2022 The film La batana Salvorina At the Info Center Monfort (former salt warehouse) in Portorož we had a presentation of the film "La batana salvorina" (the small vessel of Savudrija Cape).
