GIUSEPPE TARTINI MUSEUM COLLECTION

Piran is the birth place of Giuseppe Tartini (1692-1770), the violin virtuoso, composer, musical theoretician and pedagogue of global reputation. In his Museum collection, some of his personal belongings, depictions, manuscripts and scientific works are exhibited. The most precious exhibit in the collection is Tartini's violin, made by Fr Nicolò Amati from Bologna.
