20. 10. 2020 Opening of the exhibition “Stone by stone... Roman architecture of northwestern Istria” from the Maritime museum Piran in Zagreb City Museum On Thursday 15 October 2020, the exhibition "Stone by stone ... Roman architecture of northwestern Istria" by Snježana Karinja from Maritime museum of Piran was officially inaugurated in the Zagreb City Museum. The exhibition was prepared by the Maritime Museum in cooperation with the Umag City Museum, Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, Archaeological Museum of  Istria, Institute of Archaeology and Heritage Koper, Centre for Communication, Hearing and Speech Portorož and the Regional Museum Koper, archaeological sites from Jernej Bay at Ankaran to Novigrad are presented.

04. 03. 2020 Lecture by DD Verena Vidrih Perko "Museology: historical conceptual issues" On Monday, March 2nd 2020, the prominent archaeologist and museologist DD Verena Vidrih Perko held a lecture "MUSEOLOGY: HISTORICAL CONCEPTUAL ISSUES - DOES THEORY CONCERN OUR DAILY WORK AT THE MUSEUM? The event, which was organized by the Maritime Museum "Sergej Mašera" Piran and the Slovenian Museum Association, took place at the Info Center of the Maritime Museum Piran in the former Monfort Salt Warehouse in Portorož.
