The Piran Lighthouse

 

The entrance fee for citizens of the Municipality of Piran is symbolic: EUR 1.00. 3.00 EUR for other visitors, 8.00 EUR for families and free for children up to 7 years. The entrance fee is intended to cover the costs of work and the museum activities, as well as further improvements and upgrades of the presentation to support culture and heritage.

 

The lighthouse will continue to be open to all associations and institutions that operate in the public interest in the Municipality of Piran.

 

 Even if the interior has not yet been renovated, we will do our best to offer the most friendly introduction to the history and meaning of the lighthouse, the life of the lighthouse keeper and the architectural heritage.

April: saturday, sunday 11:00 - 17:00

 

🟡 The Piran lighthouse will be exceptionally open for the Easter holidays:

Friday – Monday, April 3–6, 2026, 11:00–17:00

 

May: saturday, sunday 10:00 - 17:00
June: friday, saturday, sunday 10:00 - 17:00
July:  9:00 - 12:00  and  17:00 - 21:00
August:  9:00 - 12:00  and  16:00 - 20:00
September:  10:00 - 18:00
October:  10:00 - 17:00

 

This year, the lighthouse will be open until October 31, 2025.
