The Piran Lighthouse

From Friday, July 12, 2024, it is again possible to visit the Piran Lighthouse and the occasional exhibition about the Lighthouse. 

The entrance fee for citizens of the Municipality of Piran is symbolic: EUR 1.00. 3.00 EUR for other visitors, 8.00 EUR for families and free for children up to 7 years. The entrance fee is intended to cover the costs of work and the museum activities, as well as further improvements and upgrades of the presentation to support culture and heritage.

The lighthouse will continue to be open to all associations and institutions that operate in the public interest in the Municipality of Piran.

The renovation of the exterior is nearing completion and will be formally presented at the end of August. Even if the interior has not yet been renovated, we will do our best to offer the most friendly introduction to the history and meaning of the lighthouse, the life of the lighthouse keeper and the architectural heritage.

July:                  9:00 – 12:00   •   17:00 – 21:00

August:             9:00 – 12:00   •   16:00 – 20:00

September:    10:00 – 13:00   •   16:00 – 19:00

October:          10:00 – 17:00

 

This year, the lighthouse will be open until October 31, 2024.
