04. 03. 2020 Lecture by DD Verena Vidrih Perko "Museology: historical conceptual issues" On Monday, March 2nd 2020, the prominent archaeologist and museologist DD Verena Vidrih Perko held a lecture "MUSEOLOGY: HISTORICAL CONCEPTUAL ISSUES - DOES THEORY CONCERN OUR DAILY WORK AT THE MUSEUM? The event, which was organized by the Maritime Museum "Sergej Mašera" Piran and the Slovenian Museum Association, took place at the Info Center of the Maritime Museum Piran in the former Monfort Salt Warehouse in Portorož.

07. 02. 2020 Culture in the square The presentation of the new trilingual publication by the Maritime Museum "El Tartini in piassa" – A story about the monument, was held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 11 am in Piran. The event commemorated the upcoming Prešeren Day, the Slovene Culture Day and the beginning of the annual program "Tartini 250" on the 250th anniversary of the death of maestro Giuseppe Tartini.

05. 02. 2020 What's the future of Sečovlje Saltpans? Until 19 February 2020, an exhibition entitled »Proposals for the future of Sečovlje saltpans« by the students of the Department of Landscape Architecture of the Faculty of Biotechnics, Ljubljana University, is on display in the Maritime Museum's Info Center  in Monfort (former saltwarehouse) in Portorož.
