The presentation of the book SAVA & JOLANDA

On March 8th 2021, on the occasion of March 7th, International Maritime Day - and March 8th - International Women's Day, the presentation of the book SAVA & JOLANDA, The First Slovenian and Yugoslav Sailors, Women and the Sea, and the Entry of Slovenian Women into the Male World of the Maritime Profession took place on the Zoom web platform.

 

 

The book was presented by the director of the Maritime Museum Piran Franco Juri, the author of the book, museum councillor PhD. Nadja Terčon, book designer Mateja Tomažinčič and both sailors’ daughters Tamara Kaluža Pocecco and Alida Mažer.
