The Maritime Museum Sergej Mašera Piran is doing its best to make its website as accessible as possible in compliance with the Access to Websites and Mobile Applications Act and EU Directive 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

WCAG guidelines 2.1 were taken into consideration while designing the website

The latter comprise a set of guidelines and standards, the basic aim of which is to increase the accessibility of the topics published online for groups of persons with disabilities.

This accessibility statement refers to the website https://pomorskimuzej.si/sl/
The Maritime Museum Piran’s website is in the greatest possible compliance with the Access to Websites and Mobile Applications Act.

The website enables you:

to choose between three font sizes and four different background colour contrasts,

to give commands with the aid of the keyboard,

the pictorial material is equipped with alternative text,

web links are mostly descriptive, with a "click here" sign situated next to them,

videos on the website are furnished with subtitles, some of them also with Slovenian sign language.

The content listed below is not available for the following reasons:

In most cases, we attempted to adapt the materials, published as attachments, to groups of persons with disabilities. Documentation envisaged for the general public is published for the most part in text form.

We are supplementing alternative texts to the pictorial material. The logos are not bookmarked as yet.

The website includes few images with textual contents that are not a logo.

Accessibility icons are not properly named.

The Maritime Museum Piran attempts to eliminate the ascertained discrepancies.

Once a year, our online contents are checked by external contractors with accessibility tools.
