Call for Applications for COME-IN Label promoting museum accessibility and inclusion for all
The COME-IN! Label promotes accessibility and inclusion aiming at a museum experience for all. It is based on the COME-IN! Guidelines, including the United Nations-Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities and European laws. It aims at being a worldwide label for museums engaged in accessibility, promoting democracy, non-discrimination and equal opportunities, as well as accessible culture and equal cultural rights for all interested people. It also promotes new ways of thinking and accessing culture through multi-sensory experiences and innovative approaches.

Information for visitors
Dear users, this notice is to inform you that the Maritime Museum Piran, with all its units, will be closed to visitors from Friday, March 13th 2020 until cancellation. Only museum staff and authorized persons who are carrying out emergency maintenance work are allowed to enter the museum premises. This measure was adopted in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Culture to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic. During the Coronavirus outbreak, we offer you virtual tours of our dislocated collections. We have prepared some new material also for our younger visitors.
