Ahead to the past - Predloka in the vestibule of the worlds

The Maritime Museum Piran is once more participating in the joint online campaign of Slovenian museums "Forward Into the Past".

 

From 11 December 2024 at 11:00 a.m. you can watch, on the YouTube channel, a video titled Predloka in the vestibule of the worlds - Archaeological research by the Maritime Museum »Sergej Mašera« Piran in the period from 1972 to 1983.

The book by Elica Boltin Tome, archaeologist and former director of the Maritime Museum Piran, is an extensive and comprehensive work on the salient archaeological site of Predloka, where trenching and systematic archaeological excavations were carried out for no less than 12 years.
