Flags and barges in the park   

Apart from guided tours of the exhibitions in the Gabrielli Palace, two workshops from the capacities offered by the museum to elementary school children were held in pleasant weather in the park next to the museum building. The older pupils learned the "Alphabet of Flags", which caused them no headaches at all, and with which each of them wrote his or her name in the form of a garland. The younger ones made colourful paper boats, with which they then safely sailed to the Piran mandracchio, which was created right on the cardboard, and later to the home Port of Koper. We had a lovely time and as we learned loads of new things, we are all looking forward to a new encounter.
