The exhibition "It's blowing široko, let's set sail" (an quote from Pia Mlakar's logbook) is dedicated to the renovation of the sailing ship Galeb, that was owned by the ballet duo Pina and Pia Mlakar. The exhibition interweaves the documentation of the sailboat's renovation, which the artist monitored between 2020 and 2022, with poetic interpretations of its cultural and symbolic significance, in a story of bodies united by work, sea and time.
The exhibition is a co-production of IoDeposito and the Maritime Museum Sergej Mašera.

After the opening, at 9pm, we invite you to a dance performance as part of the Primorska Summer Festival "Step out of my shadow PI 314", a tribute to the life and work of Pia and Pina Mlakar at the Tartini Theatre in Piran.
