The culinary in the salt pans - closing event

You are kindly invited to attend an event on Wednesday 29 September 2021 starting at 17.00 in the Maritime Museum's Info Center in Monfort (former saltwarehouse) in Portorož, to the closing event of the " The culinary in the salt pans " project, organized as part of the European Cultural Heritage Days.

17.30 Presentation of the project

Food in Koper and its Countryside from Antiquity to the end of the 19th Century organized in collaboration of the Regional Archives Koper and the Koper Regional Museum

 

This will be followed by a presentation of activities that took place during the year within the The culinary in the salt pans project, organized by the Maritime Museum “Sergej Mašera” Piran, the Institute for the Protection of Cultural heritage of Slovenija, the Italian Community in Piran and the Italian community “Giuseppe Tartini” Piran.

Giorgina Rebol from the group "La Famea dei salineri" will present the food we presented this year as part of the Salt Cuisine project.

A representative of the youth association of the Self-governing Community of Italian nationality will show videos and photographs from the events of the project.
