Pietro Coppo "Piran Code De summa totius orbis"
Of particular interest is no doubt the Piran Code. During 1524 and 1526, a precious work was created, a manuscript on parchment, the so-called De summa totius orbis, the fifteen maps of which are something unique in the world and of the greatest value in the entire Piran Code. Its author is Pietro Coppo, one of the most noteworthy chorographers and cartographers, who published a whole series of cartographic masterpieces.
