Inv. No. PI-B 306 Amphora lid

Inv. No. PI-B 306 Amphora lid, made on a potter's wheel, its lower concavity only slightly extending into the button, the edge of the lid moderately thickened and only slightly folded upwards. The button roughly marked with fingerprints.

 

The texture is soft, with medium dense impurities: mica, very fine white and grey particles up to 1 mm in size, reddish ceramic particles 0.5-1.8 mm in size.

The surface is smooth.

 

Colour: 7.5YR 7/6, reddish yellow.

 

Length: 3,4 cm; thickness: 1,2 cm; diameter: 9,9 cm; weight: 139 g.
