Inv. No. PI-B 305 Amphora lid

Inv. No. PI-B 305 Amphora lid, made on potter's wheel, with flat bottom surface void of concavity. Its rim moderately flattened, the edge itself slightly thickened. The button is additionally marked with fingerprints.

 

The texture is soft, with medium dense impurities: mica, very fine white particles up to 0.6 mm in size, rare grey particles up to 1 mm in size, reddish particles of ceramic material 0.5-2.8 mm in size.

The surface is smooth.

 

Colour: 10YR 8/3, very pale brown.

 

Length: 3,4 cm; thickness: 1,1 cm; diameter: 9,07- 9,56 cm; weight: 126 g.
