Inv. No. PI-B 38 Fragment of Late Rhodian amphora handle. The handle is horned and circular in cross section.

 

The texture is soft, with medium dense admixtures: very fine white particles and only few reddish particles of ceramic material up to 0.5 mm in size.

The surface is powdery pitted.

 

Colour: 7.5YR 7/6, reddish yellow; Cross-sectional colour: 7.5YR 7/6, reddish yellow.

 

Length: 9,4 cm; thickness: 3,1 cm; width: 3,2 cm; weight: 280 g.
