The texture is soft, with medium dense impurities: mica, tiny reddish particles of ceramic material 0.4-3 mm in size.

The surface is rough.

 

Colour: outside: 10YR 6/4, light yellowish brown; Cross-sectional colour: 10Y/R 6/6, brownish yellow.
