Part of the Roman architrave of Volginius Phileros with a frieze in relief and a two-line inscription in Aurisina stone (inv. no. 889) dating from the first half of the 1st century AD, found in 1981 during the widening of the road in Strunjan. It's secondary use was in an oil press.
Decoration of hanging garlands with ribbons tied on ox skulls (bucrania). In the intermediate semicircular fields a stylised ram's head and a bird. Inscription L(ucius) Volginius Phileros te[stamento fieri iussit?] [---] Supanicia T(-iti) [---].
On the reverse, traces of secondary use are visible (two rectangular grooves measuring 14 x 24 x 8 cm).
