Shirt, coat, kamižot… From best clothes to a costume

The Maritime Museum Piran kindly invites you to Sv. Peter on Thursday, 5 November 2026, to view the Tona’s House Ethnological Collection and to attend the opening of the temporary exhibition 
Shirt, coat, kamižot… From Festive Attire to Costume, set up by the Maritime Museum Piran (Bogdana Marinac)  in cooperation with Aljoša Pucer. 
The event will feature screening of the short docu-drama Zanigrad (1961), which depicts people’s life in the countryside of Slovenian Istria. The event will be enriched with a musical performance by the group Šavrinke.
