Summer Museum Night

The Maritime Museum of Piran invites you to the Summer Museum Night on Saturday, 20 June.

 

We warmly invite you to join the following free guided tours of the exhibitions:

At 6:00 PM, a guided tour of the exhibition “Mullet in the Nets” at the former Monfort Salt Warehouse in Portorož (Obala 8). The tour will be led by the exhibition authors, Dr. Nadja Terčon and Veronika Bjelica.

At 9:00 PM, a guided tour of the exhibition “The Admiral and the Japanese Screen” at Gabrielli Palace in Piran (Cankarjevo nabrežje 3). The tour will be led by the exhibition curator, Bogdana Marinac.

 

You will also be able to visit the exhibition venues free.

 As part of the Summer Museum Night, the following locations will be open free of charge:

 

The Monfort Warehouse: 6:00 PM–10:00 PM
Gabrielli Palace: 6:00 PM–12:00 midnight (otherwise open from 9:00 AM)
Piran Lighthouse: 6:00 PM–12:00 midnight (otherwise open from 9:00 AM)
Giuseppe Tartini Museum Collection at his Birthplace: 6:00 PM–12:00 midnight.
