Guided tour of the exhibition Maribor, the story of a ship

The Maritime Museum »Sergej Mašera« Piran has been hosting the exhibition Maribor, the story of a ship at the Monfort Exhibition Ground since September. The exhibition tells the story of the almost forgotten coastal motor vessel Maribor, which sailed from Trieste to Ulcinj. The ship was built at the Uljanik shipyard and launched in 1954. Later, the ship was sold to a Greek shipping company and ended its journey in Ecuador. The author of the exhibition is Rok Kajzer.

We invite you to join us on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the Monfort Exhibition Ground, where we will once again set sail aboard the passenger ship Maribor. The exhibition’s author will guide you through the history, memories, and fate of the Maribor ship.
