Invitation to the opening of the guest exhibition

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, the Maritime Museum "Sergej Mašera" Piran and Vila Mayer (Municipality of Šoštanj) invite you to the opening of the guest exhibition:

 

One Hundred Facts About Kajuh, Written in Green Ink

 

which will take place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Monfort Exhibition Ground, a former salt warehouse, Obala 8, Portorož.

 

Špela Poles, the author of the exhibition, will talk about the exhibition and the poet, fallen partisan, and national hero Karel Destovnik – Kajuh.

 

Kajuh's poems will be recited by students from the Piran Gymnasium (GEPŠ).

The exhibition will be on display until June 15, 2025.
