This Happy Day of Culture in the Maritime Museum Piran
Open day of Slovenian culture
You are kindly invited to spend Tuesday, December 3rd 2024, in the exhibition halls of the Maritime Museum Piran.
Visitors will be granted a free entrance:
- to the Maritime Museum Piran, Cankarjevo nabrežje 3, from 9:00 to 17:00
- to the museum collection of Giuseppe Tartini in his birthplace in Piran, Kajuhova ulica 12, from 10:00 to 19:00
- to the Maritime Museum's Monfort Exhibition Ground, the former salt warehouse, Obala 8, Portorož, from 13:00 to 17:00
We invite you to the TARTINI FOR CHILDREN music workshop
The workshop is led by Zdravko Pleše, violinist and music teacher.
The workshop is aimed at primary school children from 4th to 9th grade who want to learn about Tartini's cultural heritage, perform it on musical instruments and connect it with Slovenian cultural heritage. During the workshop, the child is exposed to music literacy, learning about string instruments and the violin part of the workshop, as well as getting to know Tartini as a violinist and composer.
from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Tartini`s house, Hall of Views, Kajuhova ulica 12
the workshop is dedicated to pupils of the Center for communication, hearing and speech Portorož
from 16.30 P.m. to 18.30 p.m. at Casa Tartini, Hall of Views, Via Kajuh 12
the workshop is aimed at primary school children from 4th to 9th grade.
Registration is compulsory as places are limited. Registrations are accepted via e-mail veronika.bjelica@guest.arnes.si until Monday 2nd December.
