A Walk Among the Sculptures

You are cordially invited to the event "A Walk Among the Sculptures in the City Centre of Piran: Jakov Brdar - Pegasus" on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. in front of the Piran Civic Gallery.

 

The series of four andragogic workshops "A walk among the sculptures in the city center of Piran" is organized by the Coastal Galleries of Piran in collaboration with Natalija Planinc.

 

The Maritime Museum "Sergej Mašera" Piran will also participate at the event.

 

Nives Marvin the curator of the Piran Coastal Galleries will present the artist Jakov Brdar. Participants will be able to observe his sculpture Pegasus, which stands in front of the Piran Civic Gallery.

 

Conservator-restorer Ajda Purger from the Maritime Museum "Sergej Mašera" Piran will then present the profession of conservator-restorer and her work in the museum. She will highlight the importance of regular maintenance of cultural heritage and counsel on its proper care.
