This Happy Day of Culture in the Maritime Museum Piran

Open day of Slovenian culture 

 

You are kindly invited to spend Sunday, December 3rd 2023, in the exhibition halls of the Maritime Museum Piran and take part in two guided tours through the Museum:

from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Maritime Museum, Piran, Cankarjevo nabrežje 3

Guidance through the temporary exhibition "Fragments of the Far East, East Asian objects in the mariners’ collections"

You will be guided by Bogdana Marinac, the author of the exhibition and museum councillor.

from 15.00 to 16.00 at the Monfort Exhibition Ground "Info center", the former salt warehouse, Obala 8, Portorož:

You will be guided by Maja Rijavec and Alenka Kreč Bricelj, the authors of the exhibition, from the Cultural and Ecological Association SMETUMET

 

On this Happy Day, visitors will be granted a free entrance:

- to the Maritime Museum Piran, Cankarjevo nabrežje 3, from 9:00 to 17:.00

- to the museum collection of Giuseppe Tartini in his birthplace in Piran, Tartinijev trg 7, from 10:00 to 13:.00

- to the Maritime Museum's Monfort Exhibition Ground, the former salt warehouse, Obala 8, Portorož, from 13:00 to 17:00
