Nothing can be done without Museum

The Piran Maritime Museum hosts an exhibition by the Maribor Provincial Museum, entitled NOTHING CAN BE DONE WITHOUT MUSEUM, at the 100th anniversary of death of Sergej Vrišer, PhD. The author of the exhibition is Valentina Bevc Varl, PhD.

In 2020, a hundred years have passed since the birth of Sergej Vrišer, PhD, art historian, long-time curator and director of the Maribor Regional Museum, lecturer of museology and conservation at the Department of Art History within the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, professor of Fine Arts and Culture at the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor, baroquist, uniformologist and Maribor citizen – the writer about culture, art, the past and heritage.
