The presentation of the book by journalist Boris Šuligoj
On Friday, 10 November 2023, during the presentation of the book by journalist Boris Šuligoj "On the Other Shore" at the Monfort Exhibition Centre, a conversation was held between the author and the journalist Bojana Leskovar.
The book, rich in photographs and illustrations, comprises most diverse and interesting stories about the sea, life, history and Istrian people, written largely in the last 15 years. Among them are: an interview with Flavio Bonin from the Saturday Supplement od the Slovenian Delo daily from 2017 about the Piran saltpans and a contribution on the renovation of the sailing boat Galeb from 2022, published by the Delo daily. During the conversation, the author reminisced about his beginnings as a journalist and the stories that marked his professional career, vividly expressing the spirit that drove him from one story to another. The conversation was of interest both for those who know the author personally, as well as random visitors.
