Vessels of the salt pans

On the occasion of Maritime Day, we cordially invite you to the presentation of Slobodan Simic Simet's new book, Vessels of the salt pans. This fascinating monography presents all the types of traditional vessels that were once used in the salt pans, as well as the former ways of transporting salt, manoeuvring wooden vessels through the salt canals and much more.

The presentation will take place on Monday 6 March 2023, at 11:00 in the Monfort Infocentre (former salt warehouse), Obala 8, Portorož.
