Model of a leut

Leuts were the largest fishing boats, which often served also as cargo sailing boats. They were used in Istria and Dalmatia. The 7 to 12 metres long hull was very low (1 to 2 metres)  and equipped with one mast. Its crew numbered 7 to 8 men.
