Ship model of the fishing boat: Primorka, inv. no. P4142
Dimensions: length 52 cm; height 48 cm; width 18 cm
Model of the fishing boat Primorka on a wooden base, with a hull in red and white, a cabin in brown with a blue roof, and fishing gear with all details.
Wooden fishing boats were first produced by the Arrigoni and Ampelea fish-processing factories. After the Paris Peace Conference in 1947, these vessels were evacuated to Yugoslavia. From then on, fishing was carried out by the company Istria Pesca, later Riba. In 1959, the company joined the Izola Canning Industry Combine, which supplied the fish processing industry with fresh fish. Since 1955, the Primorka fishing boat was also part of its fleet.
